I just pulled out the SS metal trim insert with a pair of pliers and left the vent window seal in. The slot for the trim almost completely closes up after a few months. Pulled all the oxidized brown plastic trim out of the rest of the window seals too. Easy.

Subject: Driver/Passenger window seals

I'm about to attempt to replace the felt seals and scrapers on these windows. Is there anything special to watch out for.  I've watched the Go-Westy  Youtube on the subject, but is there anything else? I want to do the triangle window seals while I'm at it, and they do not address it!
I'm concerned with removing the crappy chrome trim.

Also, I have new sliding side windows to put in. Anybody done a remove/replace job there?
