Okay, I've gotten zero responses to my questions about the lead vent wing seals which are NLA. Is anybody making something out of a different material to replace the lead seals? I was talking to a designer friend of mine and trying to think of some kind of material that could possibly be molded to fit that would then harden sufficiently but then remain pliable enough to seal but not so pliable as to leak. Any thoughts from any materials scientists out there? Do we have any materials scientists on the list? My lead seals are rapidly going to pot, so to speak, and I'd like to get them replaced with something that works, even if I have to engineer something new. Others could benefit from this, I'm thinking . . . Marc Perdue
