WHOA THERE ! Big bone of contention there with me. I “think” those spring clamps are the best clamp you can put on the hoses. Period ! Constant pressure and they do not CHEW up the hoses ! Here at Frank Condelli & Associates I toss all other style clamps in favour of the spring clamps ! I keep all the sizes in stock. So…….there ya go two mechanics with different opinions. > On May 6, 2016, at 8:39 PM, Automatic digest processor <LISTSERV@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> wrote: > > I think spring clamps are a silly bother . > I think there main purpose is to speed assebmly line production and > reduce costs. > I generally toss 'em Cheers, Frank Condelli Almonte, Ontario, Canada '87 VW Westy, '00 Kawasaki 250 Sherpa, "98 Ducati 750 Monster & Lionel Trains (Collection for sale <http://frankcondelli.com/trainsal.htm>) Frank Condelli & Associates <http://www.frankcondelli.com/> - Vanagon/Vanagon Westfalia Service in the Ottawa Valley BusFusion <http://www.busfusion.com/> a VW Camper camping event, Almonte, ON, June 02 ~ 05, 2016
