I know. Clearly I need to "get a life".... LOL The shorter story is, I wasn't certain the adjusters were working. The driver side adjuster wheel teeth were quite worn. I recalled that I had a spare set of old brake hardware. The wheel from that was in slightly better condition. I installed that, cut out a viewing window on an old brake drum, made a video of the adjuster working. Albeit slowly. Of note the older drum had some wear which allowed the adjuster to work. I could not hear the adjuster work with new drum and shoes even with the adjuster backed way off. Youtube link: https://youtu.be/XZwjHbNuXjI Another youtube video showing passenger side adjuster but w/o the drum installed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CVBiko65RRY I have new adjusters on order and will post images of differences between the worst worn adjuster wheel and new wheel. I'm not saying the worst worn wheel wasn't working. I was just curious to see it in action and to be certain the system actually worked in light if the fact that I could not hear it working with the new drum installed.
