Hooray! We found a campground with internet. Modern technology today. On Rt. 66. Heading to Joplin tomorrow. I did some disaster relief work after the big tornado hit a few years back, and I would like to show the wife where I worked and see how things turned out. Some times it takes a long time to rebuild. The motherroad is quite a trip. Rt 66 has had many realignments that bypassed towns and small business that sprung up along the road to support the growing traffic. Those realignments often spelled disaster when the traffic dried up. We have been trying to stick to the older route and have seen turkey tracks in the then freshly poured concrete, the restored Gay Parita Sinclair station. and stayed in the Wagon Wheel Motel one rainy night. There is so much more, but we have to plan the next few days. The Bus is running well and are looking forward to more miles and many smiles. From the Road; Dave B..
