I couldn't resist the allure of the aluminum airfoil strut material we had hanging around the shop. I made a roof rack to replace the Thule rack I was using. I need to improve the design of the hold down clamp system but I had to make something as a starting point.

Anyway, the clamps work well and the rack doesn't look as goofy as it could have.

That silly side rail thing I have was made to accommodate the Thule rack hold downs. I'd like to improve that rail soon, make it stiffer and if possible, less ugly.
