Bentley's diagram (p. 38.7) has a 'wavy spring washer' that isn't in my 090 AT 1st/rev. splined plate assembly. Is this normal? Mine is an NK transmission (late model '86). And boy is that diagram messed up on this part. Or is it my AT? Specifically, they have five pairs of inner/outer splined plates, where mine has four pairs, and they have that washer at the bottom of the assembly. The Techtran ATSG manual shows four pairs, but 1) they have that 'wavy spring washer', and 2) that's the 010 version of this AT. My two practical questions: Should I put my extra pair of plates in? Should I use one of the old outer splined plates in place of the washer? -Charles -- There's no .sig like the present
