Well, maybe I have found the reason. A friend said look for the fuseable
link. He describe it, being in the D pillar. I looked. It wasn't obvious
but I found it. Just looking it appeared intact. I touched it and it fell
to powder.

Will get a new one tomorrow, and hopefully my AC woes will be over. Not
perfect, but the thing will be useable. Will post the outcome.
