lol... commonly called a 'cable boot' .. used *everywhere* like on millions of bicycle brake cables, both ends even. I'd call them 'rubbery' though.. the scrunchy had me thinking more of hard plastic stuff...like wire covering ... ( not seen on vanagons much ..but subaru wiring harnesses, lots . Available in auto parts stores, for bundling and protecting stuff . I use it all the time in wiring projects ) Scott On 08/17/2016 05:33 AM, Tyler Hardison wrote: > I'm going to stick with "scrunchy" from here on out. :) > > On Wed, Aug 17, 2016 at 8:32 AM, OlRivrRat <OlRivrRat@comcast.net> wrote: > >> If OEM can't be found, a local High End Bike Shop may have a >> solution. >> >> http://tinyurl.com/grq45sy >> >> These are pricey >> >> http://www.eurotruck-importers.com/index.php?main_ >> page=product_info&products_id=758 >> >> http://tinyurl.com/zfezmg4 >> >> >> >> >> On 16 Aug , 2016, at 5:36 PM, Eric Caron wrote: >> >>> Second question concerning onder the van discoveries. this list exists >> to support each other so I’m going for it this week! >>> Under my van near the starter and above my transmission are two cables >> each with a plastic scrunchy like thing on them. they let the cable go in >> and out and keep it protected from the environment. the upper one is half >> missing. or it is now.
