some of us are luckier than other.. I have to admit that... even we have the tendency to think all vanagon are built the same, will perform the same, have the same problem... my '90 tintop syncro still has the original engine, 210K miles. We just gt back from a 3 months, 7.8K miles trip with no problem... :-)
