Stuart, When my new Westy arrives from Europe, I’ll take pictures. The belt passes through the cabinet, much like the Go Westy solution, but the retraction mechanism is located lower on the side and not high on the pillar. That said, the Go Westy version would be less annoying on the cabinet side (not likely to hit your head on it.) > On 24-Aug-2016, at 14:00, Stuart MacMillan <stuartmacm@GMAIL.COM> wrote: > > I don't see how the OEM system can work in a Westy on the cabinet side. > > Stuart > > -----Original Message----- > From: Roy Nicholl [mailto:RNicholl@NBNet.nb.ca] > Sent: Wednesday, August 24, 2016 9:52 AM > To: Stuart MacMillan > Cc: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > Subject: Re: 3 point harness on rear bench > > While the Go Westy solution is a simpler install, the VW 3-point harness for > the rear bench provides a cleaner implementation. > >> On 24-Aug-2016, at 13:32, Stuart MacMillan <stuartmacm@GMAIL.COM> wrote: >> >> Go Westy.
