FWIW, coming from someone using his (strong) OG starter, opinion in
general is VERY HIGH for the tdi starters with rmw's adapter.  It's
almost syrupy.  man.

And some rather highly regarded opinions have it that gowesty's gear
reduction starter is a fragile thing.
