There is a sport HD Bilstein which is valved stiffer than the HD's. Gowesty is the only source I know of. I believe there may be Koni's with adjustable damping, but they are twin-tube, and the high pressure mono tube's seem to be more durable. I went for the extra HD Bilstein shocks and they are definitely stiffer. jon On 9/6/2016 1:43 PM, Dan N wrote: > hi, > > I have Old Man Emu shocks on my Syncro tintop and I like them a lot... > > I put HD Bilstein on my '88 Carat and I feel it's bit soft... > > I'd like to find shocks similar to OM Emu for my '88 GL tintop - OM Emu > doesn't have shock for 2WD vanagon... > > I looking for shocks stiffer than HD Bilstein > > what do you have and how do you like them? > > thanks > > dan
