Hi Neil and others,

the vin won’t do it for the glove box key.  I didn’t have a key so I sent my lock to Steve Sandlin and he made me keys.  Some of the keys he has are very fancy.  I chose one that is original with the VW cut out.

Why doesn't my OEM ignition key work on it?
Should I expect to work on it?
Does VW still provide them if I give them the VIN?
