My guess about the Subaru shop is that it was probably the closest import
shop to them when they broke down - just a guess.

As for the Engine - I did ask and as far as what I was told it is a stock
engine (but I'm not confident that Katie really knew too many details)

i did provide the parts shop as a source for parts. Detroit is a good haul
from Bay City - but shipping time could certainly be a lot quicker :)
