Hi folks,

        I have found a tiny spot of rust starting under my rear window seal on the outside.  this may be the original window seal or was replaced a long time ago.  
        Though my other windows have the channel and trim I’m planning to use a new seal with no trim. 

I have a experienced painter friend who plans to take out the window fix and match the paint and then return the windo.  He  has done busses in the past and has experience on older cars.

So, any tips or suggestions of things I should have done while this window is out?

 Pretty sure the rear defroster doesn’t work.  Anything I should know about the wires or such while we are working on the window?
