there's another shop just off the Richmond Parkway, Can't remember the name just now but BenT will. He remembers everything except Tina's birthday and their anniversary.

My girlfriend just got the bad news that her transaxle is shot.
I’m aware of the following sources for rebuilds:

http://www.aatransaxle.com/
http://www.germantransaxle.com
Anyone I’m missing? We're in the San Francisco Bay area.
Sadly this put a damper on a great evening, as we were driving back
from Neil Young's Bridge School Benefit concert. We experienced a
clunking noise as we approached a stop sign only a block from home.
Had to get a tow to a parking spot and another to the repair shop a
few days later.
Any help greatly appreciated!
