I've been using Nokian 14" winter tires year round for at least several years now. The rubber is softer than that of an all season tire so they wore accordingly. At that time, I wasn't using the bus as a daily driver so I looked at years of service vs miles. I didn't get a lot of miles per se but have been using them about 5 years now. Neil.
