The Mann or Mahle are equally good in my opinion.  I don't use anything
else here in my shop and I have had many vans that come in here with other
oil filters and are having oil pressure issues.  The Mann or Mahle filters
have the proper set up for the Vanagon and are high quality.

Just my opinion.
