I have been looking for a discussion as to the pros and cons for placing the heater inside or outside (underneath) of the van.  If inside where is the best placement and same issue for the outside.  I have read the samba threads and it did not get a consensus as how the folks liked the placement after some time and usage.  I purchased the unit from http://www.westyventures.com/ and looking forward to receiving it.  I don't see the need for the rear heater and would like to hear some opinions from others in removing it and putting the unit there?
The Westy is off the ground so it is a good time to do it if I decide on putting it underneath the van.  Appreciate your input or if there is a thread where this has been discussed please let me know.Thanks pete90 Westy 130k miles
