I would like to remove the seat coverings on a front seat 85 style  westfalia style seat.  I’ve removed the upper part with only small difficulty.  

The bottom I’ve removed all the edges except where the seat top and bottom come together.  Also not sure how to deal with the metal rings and metal bars in the seat bottom.

So some tips on the best way to get the bottom seat off are appreciated.

Do I need to take the top part of the seat off?  And if so how?  

Or what is the method for getting the back corners  off and dealing with the wires in the cushion? 

I would greatly appreciate the vergal tips.  

For new listers I’m a blind Vanagon owner so usual diagrams and video on the web doesn’t work well for me.  Help on this list gets me through my vanagon projects!
