Subject:Temperature Gauge Sensor Question
From:Richard Golen

Hi,

I replaced the temperature gauge sensor this weekend on my 87 Westy. Before the original one died, the needle on the gauge ran dead center over the warning light. Now it sits on the upper edge of the warning light. It doesn't move past that spot when I drive. It does cause me some concern because it's reading "high".

Is there that much of a difference in sensitivity on replacement sensor?
