Sway bar links are the most common failure point on these. That is the only front end suspension part I've had to replace (outside of struts), on my 84 Westy (which has same suspension as 85). I've owned mine since 1987. Easy job. These look good, but I personally do not have any experience with this brand. http://www.suspension.com/w23410 -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of Steven Shelton Sent: Friday, May 19, 2017 5:08 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Clunk in Front My 1985 Westfalia sometimes clunks when I turn right. It clunks every time I turn left and then right. Sometimes it's only a sound but other times I can hear it and feel it under my feet. It's like something is binding up then popping loose. Any suggestions on where to start looking for the problem? --- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. https://www.avast.com/antivirus
