I'm considering moving my WBX 2wd tranny forward (flip the front mount bracket) to accommodate the stock diesel mount bracket position on a pair of '82 diesel engine bars. Given your recent forays into these parts.... Would repositioning the shift cup forward ~ 2" on the shift rod cause the ball to bind within the cup? (due to possible change of angle in shift rod) On 5/27/17, Alistair Bell <albell@shaw.ca> wrote: > Trivial stuff mostly, and I've included the shift linkage fix I mentioned on > the list a few weeks ago. > Oil change, skid plate mod, shift linkage mod. > > https://shufti.blog/ > > > Alistair -- Neil n Blog: Vanagons, Westfalia, general <http://tubaneil.blogspot.ca> 1988 Westy Images <https://picasaweb.google.com/musomuso/New1988Westy> 1981 Westfalia "Jaco" Images, technical <http://tubaneil.googlepages.com/> Vanagon-Bus VAG Gas Engine Swap Group <http://tinyurl.com/khalbay>
