FWIW, Roy, I ran my fridge full time 9-10 months a year for over a decade,
and the chamber stayed squeaky clean the whole time.  It finally succumbed
to a clogged pilot bypass on the thermostat.  Had it out several times for
performance fiddling and curing leaks in the flue system.
