I took of the hoses on the left side and they seemed fine so I put them back on and put clamps on. They did not have clamps. I re-did the 2 other vacuum hoses next to them too. Does anyone know the torque to the bolts for the manifold to head? Theres no leaks now but the van it still not right. Or is there too much risk of excess RTV getting sucked into intake? Too bad one couldn't remove the plenum and do the job that way. I doubt even silicone hose would allow enough leeway to do the job that way. If all 4 intake runner hoses are the same age, others will follow. Neil.
