Christophe:

When you say “linoleum” do you really mean linoleum (linoxyn, pine rosen, wood flour, cork dust, calcum, etc) or are you using it colloquially to mean vinyl?

Linoleum is very durable and long-lived when used in its intended environment - it is also made of renewable ingredients and can be safely discarded at its end of life.
