Thanks Roy , You are right, I did not know. the cheap stuff I paid is vinyl . Well linoleum vs vinyl googling kind of answered my questions but most of the data relate to flooring. I am using my vinyl sheet in all my cabinets to replace the 30+ years old veneer and I am wondering if its a good thing over time. So Same question with vinyl ? ;-) Thanks Chris On 07/31/2017 03:44 AM, Roy Nicholl wrote: > Christophe: > > When you say “linoleum” do you really mean linoleum (linoxyn, pine rosen, wood flour, cork dust, calcum, etc) or are you using it colloquially to mean vinyl? > > Linoleum is very durable and long-lived when used in its intended environment - it is also made of renewable ingredients and can be safely discarded at its end of life. > >> On 31-Jul-2017, at 01:11, Christophe Guilbert <cguilbert@PICASSO.UCSF.EDU> wrote: >> >> Hi guys, >> >> I am rebuilding my entire camper interior. >> >> I already started to rebuild the back cabinet, striped the old veneers >> and replace it with linoleum . >> >> The result is super nice but before I go any further and cover >> everything else with linoleum, I am wondering if the linoleum is the >> right thing to choose. >> >> What about its behavior over time , over high temperature >> >> Pro and cos >> >> THanks for any tip. >> >> Chris >> >> Vanagon air-cooled 1983
