my  buddy has a '97 passat tdi, runs and drives, for use as a engine swap
for a  vanagon.  $800 for the whole car...or we can pull the motor and ship
the  engine and harness...

1997  passat tdi, runs and drives if you put a battery in it. 5spd with the
ahu turbo  diesel engine.  around 275k miles but that's nothing for a
diesel. Has a  new starter and some other parts. I bought it for a vanagon engine
swap project  as a donor car. Its not rusty but paint and interior are shot
and would best be  used as a engine swap.  has a PA title.
