Sitting in a Walmart parking lot in Riverton WY near the center of the totality zone. The real campsites were gone long ago. Planning to not move much till its over. They claim the population of Wyoming roughly doubled with the influx for eclipse:) Ted Theodore Hoekman thoekman@gmail.com 19 York St. Newbury, ON N0L 1Z0 (519)719-0342 Blog:http://Tedspassivesolarhouse.wordpress.com On Aug 20, 2017, at 11:31 AM, David Bjorkman <ddbjorkman@VERIZON.NET> wrote: > HI All; > They were right, the traffic to see the eclipse is terrible! On the way to Myrtle Beach SC on the infamous I 95, I was involved in a pileup. Had a Tahoe bumper ride over mine (his back raised up from hitting vehicle in front of him, I braked hard and dipped down) hard enough to push through to the radiator. Thank God no one hurt. I made it to a truck stop while the lifeblood of my engine slowly peed out. Watched temp gage like a hawk and pretty sure I made it OK. AAA and $160 later the bus in my sister's driveway in Myrtle Beach. > Here's the question. Anyone know of a shop around Myrtle Beach that can replace the radiator? The body work can wait until I get home. Still going to see the eclipse darn it. I got all the gear, and I'm going to use it! Everyone out there be careful. > > Dave B.
