Hi, I made a manifold and relocated the two pressure switches plus added a pressure gauge sender. Pics etc here https://shufti.blog/2012/07/05/vanagon-oil-pressure-sender-relocation/ Jeeze, been 5 years now, the set up works fine, the connections have not leaked. The pressure switch location at the rear of the engine was then used for a oil temp sender probe. And that's been working fine for same time. Mind you, accession that spot with engine in van is a chore. I did it when engine was out for head work.
