Is this a wear item?  Is it adjustable?  Who
know about it?

One of my four front doors won't stay open
when parked on a slant--my '81 driver door,
which has 30 years of daily driving, so
being worn out is understandable.

I rather be told by some one who has
experience than getting into the front door
to find I can't do anything, but replace.

And what a part name!
