David, it has been a while on this one. The clutch stopped disengaging, I bled the master cylinder as well as the slave cylinder with no change. Pulled the trans and found the pilot bearing almost gone. That was replaced, the pinion shaft was polished and the clutch assy and other misc parts were reassembled and now all is well. Curiously there was no audible warning from that bearing. The only warning was that the shifting became increasingly difficult. Thx for your help! patrick On Wed, Aug 2, 2017 at 8:05 AM Patrick Seurynck <climb12@gmail.com> wrote: > Thanks for the insight! > I will be looking into the Master Cylinder and the Slave Cylinder today! > Patrick > > On Tue, Aug 1, 2017 at 10:01 PM Patrick Seurynck <climb12@gmail.com> > wrote: > >> And that will be an internal problem in the clutch assembly, right? >> Or might it be as simple as bleeding the clutch master cylinder? >> Patrick >> >> >> On Tue, Aug 1, 2017 at 9:52 PM David Beierl <dbeierl@attglobal.net> >> wrote: >> >>> Clutch not disengaging -- the synchro refuses to mesh.
