Recently I had a starter thread going and Jim, I think, identified a Bosch
starter, by it's number.   I tried Bosch's website.. not
  is there a reference for these things that a Normal can work with?
   I am asking because I found another starter in my loft...in a box of
parts.. and I *think* it might work for my deisel-style inline gas
Vanagon.. the number on it is 0 001 107 020 (021).  or...
020 911 023 A
This may have come from the Jetta donor (93), but maybe would work with the
deisel bellhousing?
