With Black Friday sales in full swing, I thought this might be a good
time to upgrade tail lights to LED bulbs.

A while back there was a discussion about some bulbs not being bright
and others being visible only from directly behind and not having
appropriate side illumination but that has been quite a while ago.

Does anyone have any current specific recommendations for led bulbs?
