Yep, We have snow days here in Maine also, unlike in CO & UT where even w/ much fewer snowplows, schools, etc would still be in session w/ 2’ of new snow on the ground!
However in Utah we did have a 12” rule in our office, that you didn’t have to come in & could go skiing if there was  a new 12” snowfall in the mountains!
