I was afraid to drive home but I drove slowly through the parking lot…. nothing dropped out. It must be in the bumper!! I was also worried about the coolant — driving the 6 miles from Laguna to Newport. But it was cool and raining and no coolant was lost into the rag I wedged in there. I feel less dumb now. Ordered the replacement cap and hope to have a spare for the next butter-finger incident. [Glad it wasn’t the oil cap!!] Thanks everyone I feel better. -JennRabb On Jan 9, 2018, at 6:01 PM, <stuartmacm@gmail.com> <stuartmacm@gmail.com> wrote: It's in the bumper. Has anyone ever dropped their coolant cap behind the license plate? My hands were slippery in the rain and it dropped behind and just DISAPPEARED. I felt like a dope, but it was actually not very hard to do. Tell me I am not the only one? Jennifer Rabbitt 90 TinTop AKA the VeuveBus
