Ken, a friend of mine over on the left coast has been working with a battery
maker in China (where almost all come from) and they have made a 120Ah
battery to fit perfectly in the original battery box. That means 100Ah
usable from one battery. The price is currently just over a grand...but
that's a lot of storage in a stock battery compartment! he has two happy
customers testing these out.
