I have two sets of latter model cables, and I think they will fit. They are
already packaged and ready to go, I could send you a set for evaluation but
it would be good if somebody could chime in on whether or not they will
work in the earlier car. I have used later model cables in my 83 but I am
not sure which ones I swapped out.
