One of the first things I thought of - and, I had a pump grenade on me at
about 360K miles (tho that wouldn't cause this). Point is, even the hard
parts can't last forever, and OP's has 330K on them.
At this point, I'd suggest to anybody that has an older automatic to find a
low(er) mileage one and have it rebuilt and standing by - or just go ahead
and swap it in if it seems prudent, and rebuild the old one, if it seems
viable. I have three at this point; hopefully I can get to the two in the
shed this summer. :/
