we are in Cottage Grove, 25 miles South of Eugene, OR

some more infos... 1988 Carat 2.1 WBX, van has 295K miles, engine 180K
miles, exterior look so so but no rust (California van), interior is so so
too...

engine now has crank shaft knocking noise when warm but still running
good... good power, pulls strong and all .... except the noise..

my estimate for an in house rebuild is $5K or a GW 2.3 swap is $7K... but
as you know all will add up going at least another $1K easily...
