I’ve had 3 Westfalias so far and all were open. The flow is controlled by the bottom vent control lever and sliding flaps at vents at bottom rear of front doors. I took off the small vent that opens and shuts to access the area to retrieve it. I found that either side of the vent was blocked firmly by foam. It felt like the kind you would make a mattress topper out of. > > So, this explains why no matter how much I played with the front and door vent no air seemed to come from the vent. > > Is this a thing done to the passenger side of the westfalia camper for a reason or did a Previous owner do this for some reason? > > thanks for any info. > > If done for no good reason I’d like to remove it to see if I can get air flow back there as I like to keep all things working. If it belongs in there I’ll leave it. > > Thanks for any info. > > Eric Caron > 85 GL Auto Westfalia.
