i used to have Hankook RA08 195/70R14, then switch to General 27x8.5R14LT
AT2 because BFG didn't make that size anymore... I get used to it so I
don't feel it's noisy at all... in my opinion all the vanagon are noisy
compared to a sedan or a luxury sedan.. so a bit more noise doesn't bother
me at all.
