Eric already has the smoothest and quietest slider I've ever heard.  It
sounds expensive.  He's trying to make everyone who hears it actually die
of embarrassment instead of just looking at the ground with red ears. ;)

To the actual point, reports I have are that the HDPE tape doesn't last in
this application.
