Right! My ’85 brakes (professionally done) are not as good as my son’s ’87. I know the calipers and pads are different, I wonder if I should switch to the later calipers, but would they fit on the ‘85’s spindles? I’m not interested in “big brake” kits (and expensive new wheels and scarce spindles) since his brakes are perfectly adequate, mine less so. I need more pedal pressure to stop my van than his. Anything marketed as ceramic especially. I usually stick to OE quality friction like TRW, Pagid or Jurid. My wheels are nearly black with dust in 500 miles of city driving. I don’t know what brand they were, but what are you folks using that you like? Stuart
