Hi Spencer,
I actually have three of these there is another on the top side toward the sink but still over the stove.
Mine are a little soft but not sticky. I think they are still doing about as good a job as ever keeping the dish drain firmly latched and reducing rattle. I actually keep a dish cloth in between as well and that helps silence things.
they feel like really big rubber bumps like those used for cabinet doors only much bigger.
Recently we were putting up pictures and we had a kit with some large round soft bumps for behind the bottom of pictures. they had adhesive and could be doubled or trippled in thickness.
Not as nice as the original but they would do the job.
I’ve never noticed anything quite like them in other applications.
I suspect you have already lost one and the others will not be around long!
Storing a dish cloth there when traveling might actually be a good solution.
I’ll be interested to see what folks come up with!

The two brown rubber bumpers mounted on the underside of the sink & stove
lid on my 85 Westy are turning to the consistency of warm taffy. They are

located up to the right of the latch the other is middle bottom above stove
top. Anyone else have this happen? Are these bumpers even available
anymore? Thanks for any input.
