Interesting implications and benefits, being able to digitally control any
single valve at any point between fully opened and fully closed anytime
engine management calls for it. The shameful part of the article is leaving
out the blatantly obvious fact that Formula 1 engines were using this two
decades ago (along with computer controlled suspension).

Anyway, the inference in the article is that that such a head could be
built for any diesel or gas engine.
