My '84 Westy recently was losing power climbing grades above 4,000 feet elevation and 90F temperature. When this happened (at lower elevations) back in 2009, we suspected the AFM, but in the end it was just a bad fuel filter. This time, we replaced the fuel filter and fuel pump, and the problem persisted in the extreme conditions cited. So I'd like to do some concrete testing on the ECU. (Also, I have a spare ECU I'd like to test.) I haven't reviewed the extensive instructions provided by Van Cafe here: https://www.vancafe.com/8385VECUMonitorKit-p/8385vecumonitorkit.htm But I hope applying that tool will give me some insight into the AFM as well. I might buy one if necessary, if Van Cafe still actually has them. But does anyone rent them these days? Thanks!
