I guess I need to clarify… I am looking for four individual duplex speaker wires. (1) 20’ purple and purple with black tracer (1) 20’ green and green with black tracer (1) 6’ white and white with black tracer (1) 6’ gray and gray with black tracer. I’ve already run the 9 conductor cable from the amp to the dash. Now I need to get out to the speakers. These are the standard aftermarket car stereo wire color codes. I am just having a really hard time believing that there’s no source. I’ve spoken with a couple professional installers and the answer seems to be, “we only use the best. It’s blue. (Or red or gray or white or clear. Pick a color.) They don’t seem to think that the color codes are important at all. I guess if you’re going to hook it up then sell the car in a couple years one wouldn't care. I tend to hang on to Vanagons for decades. Sound systems come and go. I think that the current Pioneer is stereo #5 in the A’wagen. Oh well… Generic speaker wires and a P-Touch label will work. Sheesh. Thanks for your suggestions. (And the private note chiding my CDO <— (OCD with the letters in the right order.)) Green/green-black, purple/purple-black, white/white-black and gray/gray-black. I need about 20’ of the green and purple and about 6’ of the white and gray. 16-18 ga would work. > > The usual sources (Crutchfield, Amazon, eBay) all come up with just generic ‘speaker wire.’ > > Does anyone know where I might find such that I have the proper colors from end to end? > > Jim
