A down side of larger tires is the negative effect on transmission life even with a stock engine. Taller gears replacing RPM with torque stress makes it even worse.

missed that should have noted have a 93 Subi conversion  has plenty of power so that should not be an issue 

I have even considered changing the ratio in the transmission if ever I need to work on it
